The Fishing for Friends organization was started in January of 2003 and our first event was held the following June on Grand Lake St.Mary s. We believe that everyone has the right to enjoy the outdoors no matter what limitations they may have.

Our mission is to provide the opportunity for disabled sportsmen /women to get back in the outdoors and to provide the opportunity to get in the outdoors for folks to who don't normally have that chance.

Our goal is to get as many people with disabilities involved in the outdoors as possible!

The 2005 The Fishing for Friends outing is set for Saturday June 4th, on beautiful Grand Lake St. Mary's. Once again we will be gathering at the first shelter house on East bank Rd. from 9am to 1pm or as long as everyone wants to fish.
